100X Colic Surgery Coverage Program: Terms & Conditions summary
Horses enrolled in and in compliance with the 100X Equine Colic Surgery Coverage Program after August 1, 2026 are eligible for reimbursement of up to $20,000 in colic surgery assistance fees, subject to the full Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility
The horse must be accepted into the Program (application plus written Enrollment Notification), reside in the United States under a U.S.-licensed veterinarian's care, and be fully weaned and at least six months old. A horse is not eligible if it has had prior colic or abdominal surgery, chronic colic (three or more veterinarian-attended episodes in any 12 months), or any veterinarian-attended colic in the 12 months before applying.
Program requirements
Gut X must be administered daily at the performance dose (1 oz under 500 lbs; 2 oz at 500 lbs and over) and purchased through an active AutoShip subscription that supplies the full daily dose between shipments (one gallon = 128 oz). A 30-consecutive-day qualifying period follows acceptance before reimbursement eligibility begins; colic during the qualifying period is not covered. Shipments may not be postponed more than 14 consecutive days or 28 total days in any 12 months. Annual wellness requirements apply: a yearly physical exam, dental exam, core vaccinations, and a vet-directed deworming program, each documented when a claim is made.
Reimbursement
Reimbursement is limited to $20,000 over the lifetime of the horse and covers preoperative care, emergency non-elective digestive tract surgery, and postoperative care at a veterinary surgical facility, including up to $500 for final remains if applicable. Costs reimbursed by any third party are excluded. Notice of surgery within 14 days, the Program Compliance Affidavit and Surgical Reimbursement Form within 14 days of discharge, and payment in full before submission are required.
Other terms
Coverage ends automatically if the horse is sold or transferred. The Program is not insurance and is not a substitute for insurance. The Customer is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining any insurance for each horse. 100X Equine may revise or cancel the Program on 90 days' written notice, may investigate any claim, and its maximum liability shall not exceed the applicable Surgical Reimbursement. The Agreement is governed by Texas law, and any dispute that cannot be resolved informally or through voluntary mediation must be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration before the American Arbitration Association in Dallas, Texas; the Customer waives any right to a jury trial or to participation in class actions relating to the Agreement or the Program.
